Rebecca Jaynes, 61

July 29, 1962  –  February 16, 2024

PRATTVILLE, AL / MOOREVILLE, MS – Rebecca ‘Becky’ Green Jaynes, 61, went home to be with the Lord on February 16th, 2024. She passed away at Prattville Baptist Hospital after a lengthy illness. She lived most of her life in Lee County, MS before moving to Prattville, Alabama 7 years ago. She spent several years working at Tupelo Lumber Company, Shockleys and the Tupelo VFW. Everyone that knew Becky, loved Becky for her free spirit and kind soul. She loved The Lord, her friends, her family, Tide Boy and Randy more than anything in the world. Becky was born July 29, 1962 to Jimmy Earl Green and Doris Jean Green (Westmoreland) of Mooreville, MS.



Becky leaves behind her brother, Ronnie Green and his wife, Darlene; her sister, Pamela Sheffield and her husband, Buddy; and her sister-in-law, Dorce Green. She also leaves behind her three children, her son, P.J. Smith and his wife Lanissa; her daughter, Amanda Morris and her husband, Anthony, and her oldest daughter, Kimberly Patterson; her eight grandchildren, Jennipher Brigham (James), Destinee Deathrage (Keith), Memphis Tucker, Ashlyn Morris, Isabella Smith, Trey Smith, Chase Smith, and Isla Smith; her seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; and her very Special Person, Randy Lowe.

Becky is preceded in death by her mother and father; two brothers, Donnie Green and Mike Green; one sister, Missy Green; and her most favorite thing in the world, her sweet dog, Tide Boy.

Becky’s visitation will be at Holland Funeral Directors in Tupelo on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 3 PM to 4 PM. Her memorial service will begin at 4 PM. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed at 4 PM at hollandfuneraldirectors.com/live-streaming, and will be archived thereafter.
