Rickey Lee Grammer, 63

SHANNON – Rickey Lee Grammer, 63, of Shannon, MS passed away peacefully in his home on May 13, 2024. He was born November 16, 1960 to Charles Ray Grammer and Hazel Kennedy Grammer in Baldwyn, MS. He had the kindest heart and loved fishing and spending time with his family. He was an animal lover and enjoyed caring for his many pets. He worked in the field of construction. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 in the Sade M. Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors in Tupelo with Rev. Kenny McGill officiating. Visitation will be from 5 PM to service time. Private burial will take place at Doty Chapel Cemetery. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed at 6 PM at hollandfuneraldirectors.com/live-streaming, where it will be archived afterward. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Charles Grammer. He didn’t have children, but his nieces and nephews were his heart and soul. He is survived by his sister, Pamela Thrasher, of Shannon, and his three brothers, Mickey Grammer and wife Diane, Jack Grammer and wife Cindy, and Nathan Grammer and wife Vida, all of Shannon.
