Roy Ray Hunter, 61, passed away Wednesday, February, 15, 2023 in Ripley, MS.
He was born February 11, 1962, in New Albany, to Vernon and Gracie Mae Hall Hunter.
He was disabled. He enjoyed life, telling jokes, picking at folks, eating, and talking to people.
He was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his brothers, Ray Hunter (Melesia), of Ripley, MS, Kenneth Page (Inez) of Cotton Plant, MS, and Sam Page (Ethel) of Pleasant Ridge, MS, sister-in-law, Jean Page, and a host of nieces and nephews. His services will be held Sunday, February 19, at 11:00 am, at New Life Pentecostal Church in Ripley, MS, with the Rev. R. H. Hancock, Rev. Bobby Goode, and Bro. Keith Glissen officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February, 18, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm also at the church. Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery in Myrtle, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, and three brothers.
