Shirley Denton, 83

February 10, 1940 — October 28, 2023

Shirley Denton, 83, a beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Pontotoc, MS. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments.

A Visitation will be held in honor of Shirley Denton’s memory on October 31, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Glenfield Funeral Home. Another visitation will take place on November 1st from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Glenfield Funeral Home. Following the second visitation on November 1st, a Celebration of Life service will be held at Glenfield Funeral Home chapel  at 1:00 PM. Bro. Charles Durham and Bro. Buddy Marshall will be officiating the service.

The family is requesting in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Glenfield Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in honor of Mrs. Shirley Denton.
