Small bus and auto collide on Highway 15

New Albany, MS – An auto collided with a Boys and Girls Club bus in front of the New Albany School District central office about 3:15.

The accident was still being investigated, but the damage to each vehicle appeared to be minor. New Albany police were on the scene, as were officials of New Albany Schools. Two ambulances responded to the accident call.

The bus was carrying an undetermined number of students, but the only injury initially reported by law enforcement was one student with a bloody nose.

They were still talking to witnesses when NEMISS.news left the scene, but the students had already been dispersed and traffic that had been blocked on Hwy. 15 for awhile was being allowed to move.
