Stanley Stidham, 86

February 7, 1938 – May 27, 2024

TUPELO – Mr. Stanley Stidham, 86, died Monday, May 27, 2024, at Sanctuary Hospice House following an extended illness. He was born February 7, 1938 in Hazard, Kentucky to the marital union of Ralph Stidham and Maxine Brewer Stidham. Stanley married Beverly Jane Kidd March 10, 1978, sharing 48 years of marriage. He worked as a Press Operator employed by Delta International for 20 years. He was proud to serve as a volunteer firefighter for the Belden Fire Department. He loved fishing, especially spending time at the cabin, and spending valuable time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of Chesterville Calvary Baptist Church.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 PM, Friday, May 31, 2024 in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Kevin Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11:30 AM to service time only.

Survivors include Stanley’s wife, Beverly Stidham of Tupelo; one son, Stanley Stidham, Jr. of Shannon; three daughters, Konnie Payne (Patrick) of Tupelo, Angie Smith (Steve) of Jackson, TN, and Judy Flood of Shannon; 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Adrion Stidham, and sister-in-law, Lola Stidham.

Pallbearers will be Mark Hughes, Mike Kidd, Gavin Hughes, Brandon Gordon, Joel Parker, and Patrick Payne.
