Summer Fun is Just around the corner at Union County Heritage Museum.

The Union County Heritage Museum in New Albany, MS will be providing a full line up of  fun and educational summer activities.

In June students will learn about artists from around the world, explore gardening, and study the Chickasaw Culture by making clay pinch pots.

Museum Makers camp will be June 23-26, and kids in 2nd-6th grade will explore America 250 with pirates, detectives, nature and art. Each day has a specific learning activity theme, and includes snacks, games, and crafts!

Each day we will be exploring the history of our nation through our daily themes:

June 23- Pirate Day with Dr. Michael Megelsh,
June 24- Detective Day with the NAPD
June 25- Nature Exploration with Debra Veeder
June 26- Art Sculptures with Tracy Vainisi
Museum Makers Kid’s Camp is a summer discovery program co-sponsored by the Union County Heritage Museum, Corporate Sponsors: BNA Bank, King Therapy and UNITE, and Community Sponsor New Albany Junior Auxiliary. Camp is for students entering 2nd grade – entering 6th grade in the fall of 2026.Camp is limited to 30 kids each day in a morning session which will be 9am-12noon. Spots are filled on a first come, first served basis. Spots are available for the entire week or by day at museum member and non-member rates!
Museum Members Whole Week Camp: $50.00
Non-Members Whole Week Camp: $75.00
Members per day $15.00
Non-Members per day $20.00
