It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Patrick Kiley, Jr., who departed this world on February 2, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center. Born on November 19, 1956, to Thomas Patrick Kiley, Sr., and Pearl Perry in Rhode Island, Thomas lived a life filled with love, family, and cherished moments.

Thomas leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Precourt Kiley, his devoted daughter, Jessica Lynn Kiley of Tupelo, his cherished son, Thomas Patrick Kiley, Jr., of Arlington, VA, and his grandson, Sabian Montanez who brought immeasurable joy to his life.  Thomas is also survived by his sister, Patricia Collopy (Bob) of Warren, RI, and his brothers Gary Davis (Marquerite) of Florida and Brian Davis (Alice) of Whitefield, NH.

Thomas had a special bond with his grandson Sabian, affectionately calling him “peanut.” His love for family extended to his beloved dog, Loofah, known as Lulu to the family, who was a constant source of companionship and comfort.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Patrick Kiley, Sr., and Florence Perry Davis. In the face of this loss, his memory lives on through the laughter, love, and cherished moments shared with those he held dear.

A time of visitation to celebrate Thomas’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Associated Family Funeral Home in Tupelo. This will be an opportunity for friends and family to come together, share stories, and pay their respects to a man whose impact reached far and wide.

Tom’s devotion and love for his family was evident throughout his life and through to the end.  He left a trail of comical stories that will continue to bring us warmth and laughter, and to those fortunate enough to have experienced them, fond memories of his big bear hugs.

In lieu of tears, remember his smile, share a story, craft a gift from the heart, or offer someone you love a big warm hug.
