Troy David Beadles, 49

March 7, 1974 – December 25, 2023

Troy David Beadles, 49, of Tupelo, Mississippi died Monday, December 25, 2023, following a lengthy battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). He was born March 7, 1974 in Chicago, Illinois to his mother, Joyce Ann Jones, and father, Gary Willis Beadles.



Troy was a 1992 graduate of Tupelo High School. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a talented musician that composed, played, and sang countless pieces of music. He recorded and distributed his original music through various internet mediums over the years. Troy was baptized as a child and in his youth and attended Harrisburg Baptist Church in Tupelo.

Troy leaves behind his two beloved daughters, Tyla Marie Beadles (33) of Kernersville, North Carolina and Melody Ann Beadles (26) of Whitsett, North Carolina. They were his proudest achievement.

Troy is also survived by his parents, Joyce Ann Jones of Saltillo and Gary Willis and Lynn Katherine Beadles of Tupelo; four siblings, Todd Christopher (Melanie) Beadles of Oxford, Tracy Anne (David) Malone of Saltillo, Steven James (Missy) Polley of Tupelo, and Sheena Hagemann Fisher of Saltillo, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Lesa Lynn Polley Bledsoe.

In the final years of his life, Troy was loved and cared for by the staff at Creekside Manor Assisted Living Center in Saltillo, where his mother continues to reside.

There will be a private, family service at Tupelo Memorial Park Cemetery on Thursday, December 28, 2023. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations sent in Troy’s memory to the ALS Association.
