Two arrested on drugs charges in New Albany
Shortly after midnight last night, NAPD served a search warrant at 1125 Rosewood Drive in New Albany. Two people, Patrick Bray and Casey Livingston, were at the address. In the home, officers found cash, 40 grams of meth, and 2 oz. of marijuana.
Both Mr. Bray and Ms. Livingston are facing trafficking charges since the amount of meth found was in excess of 30 grams. They also face charges of intent to sell for the marijuana. Trafficking comes with a minimum 10-year sentence and a maximum of 30 years. Mr. Bray has priors for drug charges and was already out on bond from a December arrest for possession with intent to sell (an amount less than 30 grams). Ms. Livingston has no known prior arrests and will have her bond set this afternoon.
The search and arrests in this case were the result of a 15-month investigation into drug activity at the Rosewood Drive address. Further charges in this case are anticipated.
