Venesta Stovall, 65
March 15, 1961 – May 17, 2026
Starkville-Venesta Stovall lived 65 years here on earth and entered eternity on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from Baptist Hospital-Starkville after a long period of declining health. Born in Chicago on March 15, l961 to Jonah and Eloise Stovall, she grew up in the Pheba Community , lived several years in Waterloo, Iowa and had resided in Starkville the last 20 years. A strong, independent personality who knew her boundaries, Venesta has been disabled for most of her adult life. She enjoyed housekeeping, was a singer in a Band, loved to cook great meals for her large family and many friends. Venesta had a green thumb and enjoyed her plants. Don’t ask her to go, for she loved traveling! Her personality was large and she enjoyed life as best she could with her disabilities. Her 6 children, numerous grandchildren and extended family were her joy and pride.
The family will have a private family service. There will be no local visitation. Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo is honored to be assisting the family. (662 840 5000)
