Vince Earl Jefferson, 62, transitioned on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at his residence in Lamar, MS.

Red Banks, MS – Mr. Vince Earl Jefferson, was born July 19, 1961, to the late Lee Willie Jefferson and Louis Evelyn Kinkle Jefferson in Desoto County, MS.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Newell M.B. Church in Red Banks, MS.

He attended Byhalia High School.  He loved being around his family and others, especially his grandchildren.  He enjoyed fishing, cooking, 4-wheeler riding, and was a San Francisco 49ers fan.  He was called to rest on Saturday, September 16, 2023.

He leaves to cherish his memories three sons: Reginald Jefferson (Davena) of Fort Wayne, IN, Lamarcus Hardaway (Charlotte) of Southaven, MS, and Jamal Moffitt of Victoria, MS; three brothers: Sesely Jefferson (Lois) of Red Banks, MS, Elder Wayne Jefferson of Byhalia, MS, and Willie Lewis Jefferson of Holly Springs, MS; four sisters: Gail Scales and Carolyn Hardaway, both of Red Banks, MS, Alexus Jefferson of Holly Springs, MS, and Stephanie Blake of Olive Branch,  MS; three grandchildren, special friend Bernice Briggs of Lamar, MS, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lee Willie Jefferson and Louis Evelyn Jefferson, and one brother: Shelden Jefferson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis Street, Holly Springs, MS  38635.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at New Dimension Salt & Light Ministries, 565 Neely Avenue, Holly Springs, MS 38635

Burial will follow at Mt. Newell Memorial Garden, Red Banks, MS 38661
