TVA program engages students in water monitoring challenge

Vicki Valentine with Tennessee Valley Authority was a guest speaker in the 5th grade science classes at New Albany Elementary School February 23-25.

Students participated in the World Water Monitoring Challenge.  The classes tested water samples from the Tallahatchie River and Jasper Creek and used the scientific method to determine if the water from these sources could support aquatic life.
