Bobby Wayne Mullins, Sr., 80

March 16, 1943 – December 6, 2023

Bobby Wayne Mullins Sr., 80, resident of Tippah County, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Magnolia Hospital in Corinth.



Funeral services honoring the life of Mr. Mullins will be 11AM, Monday, December 11, 2023, at Hatchie Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Mercer and Bro. Roy Mullins officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 5PM until 9PM and Monday from 9AM until time of service.  Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery.

Mr. Mullins was born, March 16, 1943, in Memphis, TN to the late Roy Hugh and Mildred “Putt” Gates Mullins.  He received his education from the Memphis Public School System and was a self-employed carpenter most of his life.

A Christian, Mr. Mullins was an outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing, He had a green thumb that was known to always produce a beautiful garden.  Some of his favorite past times included reloading his own bullets, watching westerns such as Gunsmoke and Cheyenne and loving on his grandchildren every chance he got.  He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memories include one daughter, Darlene Geyer (Matthew), four sons, Bobby Mullins Jr., Dennis Mullins, Randy Mullins and Donald Mullins (Michelle), one brother, Jerry Mullins, ten grandchildren, Darrell Mullins, Dennis Mullins Jr. (Holly), Matthew Mullins, Brittney Crawley (Jonathan), Tyler Mathis (Megan), Casey Peebles (Duke), Jonathan Ross) Lyssa, Brittney Bickerstaff (Josh), Valerie Mullins, and Kaitlyn Mullins, twenty-two great-grandchildren, Avery, Carlie, Maci, and Caroline Mullins, Jordan Mullins, Gemma and Laurel Mathis, Kyden, Drayden, and Daysia Crawley, Maybre Davis, Sophie Peebles, Mason Ross, Stevie Ross, Rylee and Colton Rhodes, Kinsley Ray, Grayson and Jaxson Bickerstaff, Adalyn, Jasmine and Arianna Espinoza, a host of nieces and nephews and his two lifelong friends Don Whitaker and fishing buddy, Norman Fowler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Bill and Terry Mullins and one granddaughter, Kristy Mullins.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Gates, Alan Mullins, Darrell Mullins, Dennis Mullins Jr., Mathew Mullins, Richard Mullins, Jonathan Ross and those serving as honorary pallbearers will be Don Whitaker and Norman Fowler.
