Born August 4, 1949, in Nashville, TN, Mr. Clyde was the son of the late Ed and Nellie Wallace Crowe. He received his education from the Nashville Public School System and in early years was employed with Lawn Wholesale for fifteen years. On June 20, 2003, he married his beloved wife, Gail Rowland Crowe, who survives and was currently a valued employ of the Pontotoc Sherriff Department.

A Christian and faithful member of Hayseed Cowboy Church, Mr. Clyde was a firm believer in Psalms 100:1, “Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands”, as he was dedicated to playing multiple instruments in the churches band. A true southern gentleman, his favorite pastimes included telling hilarious stories to his friends from his childhood and sharing time with his church family any opportunity he had. Mr. Clyde lived a life full of good music, great friends, and making memories with all those that he knew and loved. He will truly be missed.

In addition to his wife of twenty-one years, those left to cherish his memories include one son, Kyle Pannell (Ashley), one sister, Judy Crowe (Michael), one brother, Billy Crowe, two grandchildren, Drew and Blaine, a sister-in-law, Shirley Mercer, and a brother-in-law, Ronnie Rowland.

He is also preceded in death by a son, James Crowe.
