Danielle ‘Daniel’ Cruise, 37

September 3, 1986 – February 26, 2024

Daniel Romez Cruise was born September 3, 1986, in Tupelo, MS and went to the Superdome on Monday, February 26, 2024. Daniel “D” Cruise was a loving and outgoing person who never met a stranger. He attended Tupelo High School and was a graduate of the Class of 2006. He enjoyed playing football with the Tupelo Badgers, which led to his becoming an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints. He loved spending time with his family and friends; a lot of that time was spent attending father and daughter dances, school plays, and shopping with his amazing princesses. D always dreamed of traveling the world and was able to fulfill that dream after graduating from truck driving in 2019. He was the proud CEO of 2020 Logistic LLC, and Bag Babi LLC. D was thoughtful, encouraging, and successful in all aspects of his life. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his great-great-grandmother, Jettie Mae Birmingham of Tupelo MS, and great-great-grandfather, Rev. John Cruise of Tupelo, MS; grandmother Eva Louise Zinn of Bruce, MS; and a special uncle, Toy Birmingham of Tupelo, MS.

D leaves to mourn his memories his mother, Shelly Cruise of Plantersville, MS, and father, Billy Zinn of Bruce MS; a special friend, Erica Langston of Philadelphia, PA; two daughters, Kaydience Cousins of Tupelo MS, and Daniah Cruise of Pontotoc, MS; two brothers, Brian Cruise of Tupelo, MS, and Rayshon Pounds of Plantersville, MS, and two sisters, Tiffany Cruise of Tupelo, MS, and Britney Whitfield of Tupelo, MS; his grandmother, Johnnie Lewis of Plantersville, MS; uncle Randy “Bo” Zinn of Tupelo, MS, and three aunts, Sonia Zinn, and Vanessa “Colette” Zinn of Bruce, MS, and Sonya Bogan of Racine, WI; his special aunt and uncle, Mr. Wayne and Michelle Coleman; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Inspiration Community Baptist Church (405 Clayton Ave, Tupelo, MS 38801). The wake be held on Friday evening, March 8, 2024, at Holland Funeral Directors in Tupelo from 4 PM to 6 PM. Burial will take place at Center Hill Cemetery in Plantersville.
