Franky “Danny” Rainey Daniel, Jr., aged 67, of Columbus, MS, passed away on March 3, 2024. He was born on June 9, 1956, in Alabama, to Franky Rainey Daniel Sr. and Mary Anne Gray Daniel.

Danny is survived by his devoted wife Regina Swindle Daniel, and his cherished bonus children: Devona Berry Calloway (Roy), Amber “Apple” Pearson (Gerald), Dale Berry (Anita), David Swindle (fiancé Jerrica). He also leaves behind his beloved sisters Sherry Holt, Lynn Ingle (John), brother James Gray Daniel (Linda), along with 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents and his bonus daughter Brandy Swindle Trimble.

Danny was a former member of Broad Acres United Methodist Church. He had a passion for reading, enjoying music, and savoring good food. Throughout his life, he worked as a dedicated pipefitter for over 40 years, traveling extensively across the United States with his work.

A celebration of Danny’s life will be held at a later date. Associated Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the Daniel family during this difficult time.

Danny will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. May he rest in peace.
