Darin Connors, 51, of Tupelo, passed away on November 14, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was born on December 3, 1971, in Kentucky to Gary and Laurel Minor Connors.



Darin is survived by his beloved wife, Vega Haley Younce of Tupelo, his devoted parents, Gary and Laurel of Tupelo, and his brothers Darryl Lee Connors, Joshua Caleb Connors, and James Russell Connors, all of Lexington, Kentucky.

A faithful member of the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Darin found solace and purpose in his spiritual community. His warm heart, genuine smile, and unwavering faith touched the lives of those around him.

Darin had a passion for the simple joys of life. An avid fisherman, he found tranquility by the water, and his love for the outdoors was evident in his enjoyment of working outside. Darin’s musical talents, paired with a love for singing, brought joy to those fortunate enough to hear him share his gift. He was not only a musician but also a collector, amassing a treasure trove of stamps, coins, and baseball cards, reflecting his appreciation for the diverse beauty found in the world.

Known for his infectious laughter and a knack for making people smile, Darin had a way of brightening even the darkest days. His sense of humor and positive spirit endeared him to friends and family alike.

A memorial service to celebrate Darin’s life will be held on November 25, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 410 Monument Drive, Tupelo, MS. The service will be an opportunity for friends and loved ones to come together, share memories, and find comfort in their shared grief.
