Franklin Scott Goode, 74

December 25, 1948 – November 16, 2023

Myrtle-Franklin Scott Goode, 74, passed away in the early morning of Thursday, November 16, 2023 at New Albany Health and Rehab. He was born December 25, 1948 in Hickory Flat to Randolph Franklin Goode and Priscilla Scott Goode. He was a huge Ole Miss fan and went to all Myrtle School games. He was an avid coin collector. He was a kind-hearted gentleman and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He was well known in Myrtle. He was an active member of Ebenezer Methodist Church. He was a very loved brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who loved him.
Funeral services will be at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at United Funeral Service with Bro. Eugene Stockstill officiating. A visitation will be the same day from 12:00 noon until the start of the service.
Burial will be at Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery.
Those left behind to cherish his memories are on sister, Peggy Joann Whiteside, one niece, Kathy Jackson (Richard), one nephew, Randy Whiteside (Wilma Harville), three great nieces, Shanan Bledsoe, Amber Jackson, and Tiffany Felburg, and one great nephew Jaxon Bledsoe. He is preceded in death by his parents and one niece, Jane Coleman.
