TUPELO – Seventeen-year-old Edwin Hernandez lost his life in an automobile wreck in Pontotoc County on Friday, August 25, 2023. Edwin, the son of Martin and Maria Mariela Martinez Hernandez, was a Junior at Tupelo High School, well beloved by his classmates and his many friends from St. James Catholic Church, where he and his family attended.

Funeral services at St. James Catholic Church will be announced by Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo pending release from the State Medical Examiner’s Office. Condolences may be emailed to hollandfuneraldirectors@comcast.net.
