Saltillo— Jerry Thomas Robertson, 76, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at his home in Saltillo. Jerry was born February 24, 1947, in Tupelo to Thomas Bowen and Jeffie Elizabeth Porter Robertson. A lifelong Lee County native, Jerry graduated from Tupelo High School. Prior to his retirement, he had a long and successful career in dirt and bulldozer operating and owned his own business Robertson Construction. Jerry possessed a great sense of humor and quick wit. He enjoyed riding and traveling on his motorcycle.

Jerry leaves behind two daughters, Kim Brister and her husband, Michael, of Arlington, Tennessee and Kelli Robertson of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Bailey Sellars and his wife, Morgan, of Maben, North Carolina and Kassie Williamson and her husband, Cassidy, of Grenada; two great-grandchildren, Leah and Avery Williamson; one nephew, Jay Robertson and his wife, Hope of Nashville, Tennessee; and great-nieces and nephews, Ty, Cooper, and Olivia Robertson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Scotty Robertson; and one brother, Jeff Robertson.

Graveside services honoring Jerry’s life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Tupelo Memorial Park. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
