New Albany-John Darren Hall, 59, departed this life on Friday, February 9, 2024. He was born November 18, 1964 to Marlin and Marjorie Dunlap Hall. John lived in the Center and Beacon Hill communities all his life. He was a truck driver for Averitt Express for many years. He was a people person who loved his family and enjoyed music and reminiscing with his loved ones.
Services for Mr. John will be on Monday, February 12 at 2:00pm at United Funeral Service with Bro. Jason Brassfield officiating. A visitation will be Sunday night from 5:00pm until 7:00pm also at United. Burial will be at Center Cemetery.
Those left to carry on his memories are two sons, Ben Hall (Morgan) of Blue Sprigs Center Community, and Matt Hall (Brittany) of New Albany, two sisters, Gwynn Barkley (Wayne) of Center, and Teresa Stokes of New Albany, one brother Jerry Hall (Mittianne) of Center, six grandchildren, Jakob Garrison, Avery Hall, Joley Hall, Reese Hall, Rylee Hall, and Jenni Hall, seven nieces, Michele McGill (Shannon), Shonya Hall (Wayne), Dana Hall, Anna Claire Waldrop (Jimbo), Lyndie Davis (Heath), Jamie Gates (Joey), and Katie Vetovitz (Richard), and five nephews, Jeff Barkley (Tina), Stacy Andrews, Brian Bramlett )Vicki, Cullen Stokes (Shannon), and Will Hall (Mary). He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Lynn Andrews and husband Wade, Peggy Bramlett and husband Kenneth, and one brother-in-law, Keith Stokes.
