Laura Rena’ Pierce, 62

September 8, 1961 – January 30, 2024

Laura Rena’ Pierce, 62, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Union County. She was born September 8, 1961 in Columbia, MS to Sarah F. Bishop Pierce and the late James A. Pierce. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She enjoyed writing poetry and also, enjoyed following true crime stories. She loved her family and her dog, Peppi.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at United Funeral Service from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
She is survived by her daughter, Tosh Pierce of Mytle; her son, Josh Pierce (Lauren) of Etta; her mother, Sarah Pierce; two sisters, Linda Sims and Breeze Alford; two brothers, James Pierce, Jr. and Patrick Pierce; three grandchildren, Laura-Kay Pierce, Morgan Pierce and Caygan Pierce; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; and her grandparents, Albert and Virginia Bishop.
