Martha Ann Dillard, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Reginal One Health in Memphis, TN.

Funeral Services Honoring Mrs. Dillard’s life will be 2 PM Sunday January 7, 2023, in the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Darling and Bro. Daniel Rogers officiating. Visitation will be 12 Noon until Service Time on Sunday at Ripley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Golden Hill Cemetery.

Born April 26, 1935, in Tippah County, Mrs. Dillard was the only daughter of Bryant and Mary Elizabeth Hubbard Dillard. She received her education from the Tippah County Public School System and was a valued employee of Biltrite for forty years until her retirement.

A lifelong member of Golden Hill Church and firm believer in Christ, Mrs. Dillard was a prime example of what a virtuous woman is. She was very devoted to her church serving as there pianist for many years, studying her bible daily, sharing her knowledge of God’s word to everyone, and attending church activates every chance she had. She was continually looking out for others as she always cared for animals, welcomed people into her home offering them a warm meal or kind word, and loved drawing pictures with the children from church. A strong-willed lady who loved her fashion and dressing nicely, her favorite pastimes included calling and talking to friends on the phone and was very adamant of letting anyone know if she couldn’t find her favorite show The Rifleman on her television. Mrs. Dillard was a true treasure to know and brought a light so great to this world, that even though she is gone, her light remains. Well done good and faithful servant.

Those left to cherish her memories include a host of cousins, Betty Palmer, Helen Marie Brauer, Wade Allen Givens, and Glen Givens (Betty), along with her church family, multiple friends, and her loyal canine companion, Clyde.
