Mary “Billie” Brown, 83

New Albany-Mary Roberts Brown “Billie”, 83, departed this life on Sunday, January 28, 2024. She was born February 11, 1940 to Willie and Mae Belle Smith Roberts. She married the love of her life, Gerald Brown, in 1962. She was a homemaker, founding member of Mississippi On Wheels Car Club, former Home Room Mother for her children and assistant club scout leader. She was a member of Glenfield Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and church secretary.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Billie will be on Thursday, February 1 at 2:00pm at United Funeral Service with Bro Terry Floyd and Bro. Michael Baker officiating. A visitation will be from 11:00am until the start of the service.
Those left to carry on her memories are her husband, Gerald Brown, one daughter, Debbie Warren (Mark) of Pontotoc, she was loving Mimi to Ryan Wallace and Katie Wallace Nobles. She also leaves a host of special nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Mae Belle Roberts, and one son, Greg Brown.
