Michael Joe Emfinger, 73

October 19, 2023 – January 5, 1950

Michael Joe Emfinger, a beloved father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on October 19, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo at the age of 73. He was born in Mississippi on January 5, 1950, to his parents, Freddie Emfinger and Lavada Morse Emfinger.



Michael’s memory will forever be cherished by his loving family. He is survived by his daughter, Amy Floyd, and his son, Adam Emfinger, both of whom held a special place in his heart. Michael’s sister, Jenny Morse, along with his brothers, Darryl Morse and Roger Morse, shared a deep and enduring bond with him. He also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren, Austin Emfinger and Lincoln Emfinger, who brought immense joy and happiness into his life.

Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Regina Emfinger, who held a special place in his heart, and whose memory he carried with him. He also joined his parents, Freddie Emfinger and Lavada Morse Emfinger, and his sister, Sandra Hall, in eternal rest.

He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, and his family was at the center of his world. His dedication to his children and the bond he shared with his siblings will be remembered and celebrated by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we say our farewells, may we remember the love, kindness, and devotion that Michael brought into the world. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and may he rest in eternal peace.
