Patsy Ruth Boutwell, 76, passed away on January 22, 2024, following a brief illness. She was born February 5, 1947, in Tupelo, MS to the union of Buster and Odie Bethay Smith. Patsy was a seamstress employed by Reed’s Manufacturing for approximately thirty-five years before retiring. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her hobbies included being on the computer and watching television.

A celebration of life service will be at 3 PM, Thursday, January 25, 2024, in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Rev. Dr. Forrest Sheffield officiating. Private burial will follow in Gilvo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 PM to service time Thursday only.

Survivors include Patsy’s son, Mike Page (Maria) of Tupelo, and her daughter, Darlene Richey (Ronnie) of Shannon; grandchildren, Dylan Richey, Whitney Kenton, Mikaela Page, Jennifer Page, Ethan Wallace and Trevor Wallace (Kelsey); great-grandchildren, Rylan, Dalton, Peyton, Addison, and Evelyn. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Jimmy Smith.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Wallace, Trevor Wallace, Greg Sullivan, Jason Sullivan, Dylan Richey, Dalton Dye, and Peyton Kenton.
