Ronald “Ron” Frost, 62

November 5, 1961 – November 10, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald “Ron” Frost, aged 62, who departed this world on November 10, 2023, at The Meadows in Fulton. Born on November 5, 1961, in Ohio to Arnold and Mary Smith Frost, Ron leaves behind a legacy of love, music, and kindness.

Ron is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Frost, and their children: Leah Frost of Pontotoc, Tonia Marcy-Lopez of Tupelo, Tami Hutcherson of Saltillo, Jacob Frost of Tupelo, Matt McCary of Columbus, and Daniel Marcy of Saltillo. Ron was also a cherished grandfather to Alexa Eastman, Jaylin Warnsley, Tori Marcy, Daniel E. Lopez, Alyana Lopez, Marley Hutcherson, and Brady McCary.

A man of musical talent and a generous spirit, Ron dedicated much of his life to bringing joy through music. He played the piano for the Fishers of Men Quartet and shared his gift with the congregation at Friendship Baptist Church in Mantachie for many years and then for Christian Community Church in Ecru until his health declined. Ron’s passion for music was surpassed only by his love for people, and particularly, his love for children.

Preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Mary Smith Frost, and his sister Brenda Henderson, Ron’s departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will live on through the melodies he played and the smiles he shared.

A memorial service to celebrate Ron’s life will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Community Church in Ecru, MS. The family invites friends, loved ones, and those whose lives were touched by Ron to join them in remembering a man whose legacy is one of love and harmony.

In their time of grief, the Frost family is grateful for the support and compassion of their community. Associated Funeral Home in Tupelo is honored to serve the Frost family and assist them during this difficult period. Ron’s memory will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him, and his legacy will endure through the music he shared and the love he gave.
