Tracy Allen Dye, 53

May 19, 1970 – April 19, 2024

BREWER COMMUNITY – Tracy Allen Dye, at the all too young age of 53, departed this world in the early hours of Friday, April 19, 2024 from Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Tracy was born on May 19, 1970 in Tupelo to the late Jerry Dye and Carol Allen Dye, who survives. Tracy revered his family and had a wide circle of friends whom he loved all his life. He spent many years of his life working in logistics for the trucking industry. In 2020, he and his wife, Kristie, purchased Kim’s Place in Nettleton and renamed the restaurant Dye’s Good Eats. He loved owning the restaurant and enjoyed his customers thoroughly. Always full of adventure and the life of the party, Tracy enjoyed anything outdoors and was a great fan of water sports including canoeing, fishing, kayaking, boating and skiing. He loved cooking, good food and good people. For years, Tracy enjoyed flying his powered parachute and flying on planes in general. He dearly loved his chocolate lab, Ruby Jane.



A service celebrating Tracy’s life will be held at 5 PM Saturday, April 20, 2024 in the Sadie Holland Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo with his cousin, Joe Dye officiating. Visitation will begin at 4 PM until service time. For those unable to attend, the celebration may be viewed at www.hollandfuneraldirectors.com/Live-streaming at 5 PM and will be archived thereafter. Tracy is survived by his wife, Kristie Dye; his children, Cody Dye of Brewer, Kennedy Dye of Brewer, Kateline Lindsey, and Keylon Lindsey both of the Kirkville Community; his mother, Carol Allen Dye of Brewer; his granddaughter, Blakely Lindsey and the second granddaughter, Kendall Lindsey due in 3 weeks; his brothers, Tony Vance and Terry Dye of Shannon; his niece and nephews including a special nephew who grew up with the family, Josh Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Dye and his grandparents.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of the Restaurant in Nettleton and his close friends, James “Big Dog” Walton, Anthony “Rock” Reich, Jon Scott, and Glen Tutor.
