William Warren, Jr., 60

December 4, 1962 – November 25, 2023

Mooreville – Bill Warren Jr., 60, died Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a life-long native of Lee County. He was a graduate of Saltillo High School. Before becoming disabled, he worked at North Lee Water Association. Bill was a Baptist. He enjoyed listening to old rock music, working crossword puzzles, and watching game shows.



A celebration of life service will be at 2:00 p.m., today (Tues., 11/28/23) in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Bobby Holland officiating. Burial will follow in McNeil Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 12 noon to service time.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Peggy Warren of Mooreville; his mother, Pat Warren of Birmingham Ridge; two children, Brandi Roberson (Jeff) of New Albany, and Nick and Hailey Stroupe of Tupelo; 3 grandchildren, Haylie Fondren of Tupelo, Amery Roberson and Ellie Mae Roberson, both of New Albany; two brothers-in-law, Keith Smith (Teresa) of Saltillo, Andy Smith (Amanda) of Ecru; twin sisters, Dana Peters (Hilton) of Richmond Community and Dama Reich of Birmingham Ridge; niece, Brittany Nowlin (Chance); special grand-nephew, Will Nowlin; special friends, Jency Justice, Scotty Vines, and Johnny Long. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Warren, Sr. and brother-in-law, Rickey Reich.

Pallbearers will be Keith Smith, Andy Smith, Hilton Peters, and Scotty Vines.
