Automobile accident fatal to one child and one adult Monday in Union County

An automobile accident in Union County shortly before sunset, about 5:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 21, took the lives of one small child and one adult.

The accident occurred on Highway 370 near the Pleasant Ridge community, about 15 miles northeast of New Albany.

Union County Coroner Pam Boman confirmed the deaths to NEMiss.News. No further details, including names of victims, were available as of 10 p.m. Monday.
