Charles Mike “Tadpole” Davis, 53

September 15, 1970 – December 17, 2023

Amory—Charles Mike “Tadpole” Davis, age 53, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness.   He was born September 15, 1970 in Tupelo to Charles Q. and Sandra Reese Davis.  Mike was a 1988 graduate of Tupelo High School.  He worked in home construction as a talented painter and also for The Extra Mile Recovery Center.  He was an avid fan of the Pittsburg Steelers.  Mike loved music and enjoyed working on car stereo systems.

Mike leaves behind his wife of four years, Lisa Hill Davis; his parents, Charles and Sandra Davis of Tupelo; two children, Amber Hill Lagos (Miguel) and Ethan Hill; grandchildren, Hannah, Gabby, Micah, Kayden, and Gage; and his sister, Michelle Getz (Aaron).
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Ruth Davis and Bessie and Roger Reese.

Visitation will be 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Pegues Tupelo.  A private family graveside service will be held at Priceville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Getz, Steven Winstead, Richard Rogers, Ethan Hill, Cary Horton, and Gary Horton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pegues Funeral Home to help the family with funeral costs.
