Charles Miller, 59, of Starkville, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice. He was born on June 9, 1964, in Mississippi to Robert Miller and Shirley Spence Miller.

Charles is survived by his loving mother, Shirley Spence Miller, and his devoted brothers Lee Miller of Chelsea, AL, Andy Miller of Starkville, MS, Bill Miller of West Point, MS, and Jay Miller of De Kalb, MS. His memory lives on in the hearts of numerous nieces and nephews that were very special to him.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Robert Miller, and his sisters, Bobbie Lee and Frances Smith. His passing leaves a void, but his legacy of strength, resilience, and kindness endures through the lives he touched.

Before falling ill, Charles dedicated his career to the construction industry. His hands-on approach and commitment to his work earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Charles found joy in mechanic work, showcasing his skill and passion for all things mechanical. He was also an avid gun enthusiast, finding solace and pleasure in the precision and craftsmanship of firearms.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Charles was a versatile individual. He enjoyed welding as a form of artistic expression, and his creations stand as a testament to his creativity. Charles had a deep love for the outdoors, relishing moments spent hunting and sharing stories with family and friends. In his earlier years, he worked on a riverboat, an experience that added an adventurous chapter to his life story.

Among his many loves, Charles held a special place in his heart for his dogs, exemplifying the loyalty and compassion he possessed.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Charles’s life will be held at a later date, providing an opportunity for family and friends to share cherished memories and support one another during this difficult time.
