Sarah Frances Ketchum Fetter, 94

August 14, 1929 – December 19, 2023

Sarah Frances Ketchum Fetter, 94, resident of Munford, Tennessee, passed away peacefully Tuesday December 19, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Desoto County surrounded by her loved ones.



Funeral Services honoring the life of Mrs. Fetter will be Saturday evening, December 23, 2023, at 5 PM in the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating. Visitation will be 3 PM until Service Time on Saturday at Ripley Funeral Home.

Born August 14, 1929, in Tippah County, Mrs. Fetters was the daughter of John Thomas Ketchum and Addie Pearl Bryant. She was a graduate of Palmer High School and was a valued employee with ACB incorporation proofing newspapers for forty years before her retirement.

A Christian and member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Mrs. Fetters was a God-fearing woman who read her bible daily, prayed for her family often, and was very faithful to her Lord and family. Her favorite pastimes included going to thrift stores with her children, gardening and growing her award-winning Asian lilies, and spoiling her grandchildren every chance she got. Mrs. Fetters lived a purpose filled life and her legacy will be that of a caring mother, loving grandmother, and wonderful friend to all those who she leaves behind. Well done good and faithful servant.

Those left to cherish her memories include one daughter, Sherry Jeter (Paul), three sons, David Cooper (Melissa), Mark Cooper (Donna), and John Cooper (Diane), eleven grandchildren, and twenty-four great grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by six brothers, Hughey, Freddie, Clifford, Elijah, Russell, and J. T., one sister, Hazel, and two grandchildren, John Paul, and Tony Cooper.
